In order to better prepare students to get use to taking tests on computers and completing online assignments, I'm having the students access their math program online to watch videos on lessons we're learning and also complete some digital assignments. We will also start taking the unit tests online on Pearson Realize, which is their math curriculum. By doing so, parents can access their child's scores at anytime. I've created a screencast on how to access the test scores and assignments your child completed. Click here or see below to watch the quick two minute video (Warning: volume level is a little loud so I apologize in advance).
Our class took the Topic 8 Unit Test online today and did such a great job powering through it! There were two parts: one part was multiple choice and the second part was more word problem based, which on some questions, they had to type in their answers. I talked to students about reading the problems carefully and making sure to type down their answers properly.
If you have any questions about how to access Pearson Realize or need clarification on anything, please let me know.
