November is quickly coming to an end and our class has accomplished so much these past few weeks.
In your Thursday envelope, you will find a handout with information regarding our Marketplace activity that will take place on December 11th. I've also included it below. The students will be using fake dollar bills to purchase goods that their friends produce, but the second grade team is asking for your help to provide coins for them to use. If you have spare change lying around (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters) and are willing to donate it for this project and future projects to come, please bring them in anytime before Thursday, December 10th. I would really appreciate your help!
On November 6th, Santa Teresa High School students came by to help our students work on their Thanksgiving narrative stop motion project. Our second graders worked really hard to complete it and they are excited to share the video they created with their family. Click here to view the 1:51 long video or watch it below. We hope you enjoy it and perhaps you could show it to family and friends during the break.
I am truly grateful to have such an amazing group of students. Have a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving!
