Field Trips
-Thursday, October 1st - Levi's Stadium: Please make sure to pack your child's lunch in a disposable lunch bag and only bring water bottles as beverages. Students will not be able to bring their backpacks to Levi's that day. Any backpacks worn that day will be left at school.
-Friday, October 16th - Tech Museum: Please look out for permission slips for the Tech Museum in this week's Thursday envelopes.
Reading is Cool Program
In the Thursday envelopes this week, you will also find a handout explaining a program that our classroom will be participating in this year. The Reading is Cool program is tied with the San Jose Sharks to promote literacy in the classroom. Students will track the # of pages they read in class and at home per day and at the end of each month, I will collect the logs and input them in their database. San Jose Sharkie will visit the top classrooms who have the most pages read during a given month. Click here to learn more about this program.
Thank You
Thank you to everyone who signed up on Class Dojo to track your child's progress in class. You will notice I will occasionally update you with classroom stories and pictures via Class Dojo since it's a safer way to send images. It's also a great tool for me to connect to each parent individually to send reminders. If you haven't already signed up and need help, please let me know.
Have a great week!
